Pamela Tubbs is the founder of Smoky Mountain Chi. Pamela is a certified ISSA Personal Trainer, Tai Chi for Health Practitioner with Taijifit International, and a student of NIA. Pamela brings over thirty years experience in the Health and Wellness field to her practice, along with a passion for movement that is fun, safe, yet effective for all ages and abilities.

Smoky Mountain Chi is a registered Community Care Network(CCN) Provider with the Veteran's Administration. Offering Tai Chi sessions for both our nation's veterans and their caregivers. Stress management, reduced anxiety and depression, better balance, mobility, flexibility and increased strength are just a few of the positive effects that our veterans and their caregivers can experience when engaging in a regular Tai Chi practice.

Whether you are looking for the Traditional Eight Form, Standing- Seated Tai Chi, or a Standing-Seated Bamboo Fusion of Tai Chi and Yoga, Smoky Mountain Chi offers an experience that honors your body. Zoom and In-Person sessions available. Sessions for office/classroom, retreats, corporate and private business are also available with advance booking. Smoky Mountain Chi invites you to embark on a personal journey toward whole-self wellness. Each session (available for both corporate and non-corporate groups and individuals) is simple, low-pressure, and accessible – people of all ages and fitness levels can participate. We also accommodate people of all abilities and offer both standing and seated sessions. There is no routine or choreography to memorize or “get right” – we value presence, not perfection.
